Tipalti Introduces HitPath Integration to Reduce Affiliate Payment Friction
New Partnership Streamlines Entire Performance-to-Payment Cycle for Global Affiliate Networks
Palo Alto, CA, August 1, 2016 – Tipalti, the leader in global digital media network payments automation, announced today a new integration with multi-channel tracking platform HitPath. This technical integration allows a HitPath client to easily onboard affiliates while collecting and vetting their payment details in a branded, intelligent self-service portal. HitPath clients can then use the Tipalti to remit payments in a variety of methods and currencies across over 196 countries, provide proactive payment status communications to affiliates, and fully reconcile payment status within HitPath. Furthermore, performance networks can leverage risk and fraud management capabilities and tax, regulatory and reporting compliance available on the Tipalti platform to complete the entire affiliate payment workflow.
GlobalWide Media, one of the world’s leading data-driven marketing companies, has already implemented the new integration. “Tipalti offers a scalable platform that provides our publishing partners the freedom to choose their desired payment methods, as well as guaranteed commission payouts on time and in any currency. We are so pleased to have Tipalti fully integrated across our worldwide operations, offering best in class service to our global partners,” said Lee Lipman, Chief Financial Officer for GlobalWide Media. “The HitPath-to-Tipalti integration has further improved visibility and communications and streamlined our entire affiliate payment process with enormous time savings,” he added.
According to Tipalti’s research on affiliate payment satisfaction, 49% of affiliates actively participate in over six programs and networks at a given time, meaning affiliate loyalties are easily swayed. Additionally, 47% of affiliates have dropped a network because of a payment issue, and of the remaining, 46% say they would drop a network because of a payment issue with their network. Reducing payment friction and giving affiliates both control and visibility into their commission payments are keys to maintaining and building long relationships with high-performing affiliates.
This new integration helps affiliate networks better attract and retain their top affiliates by providing a best-in-class affiliate payment experience.
Tipalti automates payments to affiliates by:
- Providing a white-labeled, self-service portal for affiliate onboarding and management, including over 26,000 payment rules to proactively eliminate payment errors before they happen and another 1,000 tax form validation rules
- Direct integration with HitPath analytics to drive payment instruction and enhanced affiliate commission visibility
- One-click approvals and payments to thousands of affiliates in various payment methods (ACH, PayPal, wire transfer, global ACH, prepaid debit card, paper check, etc.) anywhere in the world in over 120 currencies
- Automating email notifications to affiliates regarding every step in the payment cycle through branded email templates that articulate every payment status update and issue
- Real-time payment reconciliation with data fed directly back to HitPath reports
- End-of-year 1099 and 1042-S tax preparation reporting produced in a matter of clicks with complete tax withholding support.
“Over the years, we have always been very careful while integrating with third party applications. While we strive to continually improve our already stellar customer relationship and support, hasty integrations can introduce negative friction points where in reality they should only come to play if they add value to all parties. We are thrilled with the work that the Tipalti and HitPath teams have done on this integration,” says Samuel Prokop, founder and CEO at HitPath. “It will without a doubt add a tremendous amount of value to our clients and we are looking forward to rolling this integration out to them.”
“Time and again, leaders at affiliate networks have told us that they need to be recruiting, getting affiliates excited about opportunities, and delivering new offers, rather than spend their resources dealing with the complexities of sending commissions,” says Chen Amit, co-founder and CEO of Tipalti. “The integration with HitPath creates a seamless, secure, reliable, scalable platform for affiliate programs and HitPath clients to run on without dedicating massive resources to payment issues.”
Tipalti will be sponsoring the Affiliate Summit East conference in New York on July 31 to August 2. Performance marketing networks can learn more about this unique Tipalti-Hitpath integration by visiting Tipalti at booth #6002.
