Flytographer, an online marketplace connecting travelers with local photographers in over 300 cities worldwide, faced challenges with its manual payout processes. Managing payments to a global network of over 500 photographers was time-consuming and prone to errors, leading to inefficiencies and difficulty scaling operations. Additionally, handling tax compliance and onboarding processes manually consumed significant resources.
PayPal was our only solution for the first few years, and as we grew, we were spending several hours each week paying our photographers. It was manual work with a high potential for human error. And many photographers preferred other payment methods.

With Tipalti, partner interaction no longer requires any bandwidth from our team. Photographers can change bank accounts or switch payment methods between PayPal, ACH, or wire transfers—it’s all self-service.
