Tipalti’s name translates to “We handled it.” It’s also our promise to customers. But the ‘We’ is a promise to each other, because the people behind the platform drive our success.

Working at Tipalti isn’t just about payments—it’s about the people building systems that make them work at scale. We sat down with team members from Tel Aviv to Foster City to talk about what empowerment actually looks like in their day-to-day lives.

Here’s what team members across our global offices had to say.

Providing Growth Opportunities

At Tipalti, ownership isn’t tied to seniority. We empower everyone, from new hires to executives, to lead and grow.

Whether you’re in Tel Aviv or Tbilisi, you’ll notice the same thing: people here are proactive, not reactive. We don’t hand out to-do lists. Instead, teams strive to find better ways of doing things, even if it means changing a long-standing process.

Efrat Baruch, Senior QA Lead in Tel Aviv, experiences this daily. “What I appreciate most at Tipalti is how the QA Lead role reflects our culture. Here, quality is valued and actively supported,” she says. “I have the autonomy to review our processes and implement changes that make a real impact.”

Ani Khulelidze, Team Lead of Compliance Operations in Tbilisi, shares a similar perspective. “The culture at Tipalti empowers me to collaborate with people who think differently but share core values,” Ani says. “Ownership here is genuine. Cross-functional teamwork is foundational. I work with teams from engineering to sales and customer success, and my input is truly valued.”

Oded Ivry experienced a similar evolution in Tel Aviv. After joining Tipalti as a Technical Account Manager, he transitioned to QA Automation and later realized a long-time dream of becoming a software developer. “I’m grateful for the chance to grow and evolve here—the opportunities at Tipalti are truly unlike anywhere else,” Oded shares. “A personal highlight was being part of the development process for our procurement features from day one.”

Winning As One

Community and collaboration sit at the core of Tipalti. We hire for expertise, but we prioritize ego-less collaboration. We look for people who are masters of their craft but are more interested in the team’s win than their own highlight reel.

Jacob Clark, a Software Engineer in London, felt this ‘people-first’ shift immediately. Coming from an accounting background as a self-taught engineer, Jacob experienced Tipalti’s support immediately. “The people I work with are more than colleagues; they’re friends. That connection makes me even more motivated to contribute and grow.”

In Tbilisi, Ketevan Janashvili, Senior QA Automation Engineer, shares this passion for high-impact work. “Tipalti is a place where your voice matters and your work genuinely impacts customers,” Ketevan explains. “The environment here encourages continuous learning, from developing AI-powered solutions to innovating in architecture practices.”

This culture of support extends to our global operations. Jocelyn Shapira, Manager of Office Managers and Executive Assistants in Foster City, oversees administrative support for global executives and leads our Office Manager organization across six locations.

“The best part of working at Tipalti is the daily inspiration I receive from a C-suite that genuinely wants me to succeed,” Jocelyn says. “I also value the incredible camaraderie I feel with colleagues across the entire company.”

Impacting the Fintech Industry

At Tipalti, we take pride in the caliber of our products and the impact they have. When you build here, your work directly empowers businesses to scale, ensuring that every feature you touch has a ripple effect across the global economy.

Our approach to AI is grounded in how it can meaningfully support our customers’ needs. We’re currently embedding AI directly into our workflows to move faster and stay secure.

As Ori Nachum, a Staff Engineer and our resident AI expert, puts it, the secret is a culture where it’s safe to experiment. “My work focuses on advising teams on building new AI-driven flows and teaching others how to use GenAI effectively,” he explains. “There’s a healthy culture where it’s okay to make mistakes—as long as you derive learning from the experience.”

Efrat Baruch sees innovation as an extension of quality at Tipalti. “Right now, I’m focused on applying AI thoughtfully to improve our speed, planning, and delivery. I help develop new processes and tools to integrate AI into QA workflows, and it’s rewarding to be part of Tipalti’s progress in this area.”

In Tbilisi, Ani Khulelidze is mirroring this transformation within global risk management. “We’re deeply involved in Tipalti’s AI-driven transformation. We’re actively contributing to initiatives that embed AI into compliance processes across the organization.”

Building Lasting Connections

Tipalti is a place where you’ll build deep, lasting relationships with both colleagues and customers. Relationships here tend to outlast the project. Because we prioritize the person behind the title, staying connected becomes the natural foundation of how we get things done.

This sentiment is echoed by Ashley Xie in Foster City, who has risen from Analyst in business operations to Manager of Product Strategy. “Everyone is supportive and collaborative, and workplace politics are minimal,” she says. “At Tipalti, I’ve found a rare balance: a management team that relies on objective data and a leader who truly invests in my success. Having a manager who champions my ideas and supports my professional journey has been a defining part of my experience here.”

That spirit of support extends across the globe to our London office, where Jasmin Desai, Senior Manager of Solutions Consulting, manages a team that guides clients in implementing Tipalti’s platform and optimizing their usage.

“At Tipalti, almost all functions work closely together under one roof,” Jasmin explains. “That proximity makes it easy to collaborate across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to design an approach that truly works for each region.”
